Ainscough has invested in a new fleet of Mercedes Sprinter vans for its network of heavy crane mobile engineers. As part of our continued investment in our infrastructure we have taken delivery of four new Mercedes medium wheelbase sprinter vans for the engineering team. The vans are highly specified to support our engineer’s ability to provide a high level of first time fix in the field.
First and foremost they are a fully fitted mobile maintenance workshop, each vehicle is fully equipped with power points, extra storage space for tools and equipment, work benches, cutting and welding equipment and oxy acetylene bottles.
The panel vans come with 3.6m wheelbase, a high roof for ease of access as well CDI diesel engine with BlueEFFICIENCY technology for lower carbon and nitrogen oxide emissions in keeping with our strict QHSE commitments to the environment. Equipped with a kitchen and rest/sleeping area, the new vans have been designed to maximise comfort for the engineers.
The feedback on the new vans from the engineering team has been very positive; the new sprinter vans will help improve the service levels our maintenance team provide to our customers.
