When Chevron turned to Ainscough Crane Hire as part of planning a major shutdown in September 2008, we were ideally placed to meet their lifting needs.
With extensive experience of this kind of large scale refinery project, we were quickly able to absorb Chevron’s requirements.
We sent in our technical team three months before and they spent two days a week on site working with Chevron to ensure everything would be ready for the shutdown. Then, just before Chevron was ready to begin, our project co-ordinator organised plant inductions for the site operatives in conjunction with the client.
The shutdown went to plan and our health and safety advisor was on site throughout to ensure all personal protective equipment requirements were met and the shutdown was 100% incident free.
