Ainscough Crane Hire Congratulate Staff

2015 saw 19 Ainscough Crane Hire employees reaching outstanding lengths of significant service. Cumulatively these employees have achieved a remarkable 607 years of service at Ainscough Crane Hire.

Ainscough Crane Hire brought together its longest serving employees to celebrate their outstanding contributions to the company and to thank them for their dedication and hard work. The exclusive dinner took place at Wrightington Hotel and Country Club and is now an annual event to recognise loyal team members.

The significant service awards winners, based throughout Ainscough and drawn from all over the UK, were invited by Managing Director Robin Richardson who addressed the attendees at the dinner.

Richard Breedon, Workshop Supervisor at the Stockton depot said “I was very pleased with the long service dinner. Robin was very open and informative and it was an enjoyable evening.”

Richard celebrated 39 years’ service at the event. Speaking of his time at Ainscough Richard said: “I’ve been here from the start and seen a lot of changes. I started out as a fitter and I’m now a supervisor and I enjoy working in the industry and working with cranes. You can see different places every day and different things being built, it’s great to be a part of it.”

Richard also emphasised the community spirit that underpins the industry and is particularly prevalent at Ainscough. According to Richard “People stick together in the industry and at Ainscough.”

David Jacobi who has been at Ainscough for 25 years has and works in the Heavy Cranes Division said “I’ve been in the industry all my life and it’s great to work for a company that appreciates its staff. It was great to spend an evening with other employees who have been in Ainscough a similar length of time as me.”

Kevin Woods echoes David’s sentiments about staff appreciation. As a Crane Supervisor from West London Kevin has been with Ainscough for 25 years. Speaking of his time at Ainscough he said: “I’ve worked at Ainscough since I was a boy at 21. I enjoy that every day brings a different challenge and that every day at Ainscough is different. I enjoy working with the people who work here and I’ve never felt the need to change.”
