CHRISTMAS IS IN FULL SWING

xmas montage

With just ten days left until Christmas, people from around our depots have been getting into the festive mood with our annual Christmas jumper fundraising day.

The team have nominated various charities to receive funds they raise by donating to wear their Christmas jumpers with all money raised matched, pound for pound, by the company. Many of our suppliers have also dug deep to help, for which we are very grateful.

Joanna Hughes, head of marketing said: “We are a very charitable group here at Ainscough and barely a week goes by when somebody in the business isn’t out raising money. However, Christmas jumper day is something where many more people can get involved and spread a bit of festive cheer along the way.

“We always have a great response and this year has been no exception. After all, Christmas is a time to think of others who are less fortunate and we are always happy to do our bit.”

Among the 20 charities nominated by Ainscough employees are: Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Manchester Dog’s Home, Cancer Research – Clatterbridge Hospital, Stephen Carey fund, Rosemere Cancer Foundation, Royal Voluntary Service charity, Mind – Depression support and awareness, Shooting stars children’s hospice and The Storehouse Project.
