FOUR new crane models have joined the Ainscough Crane Hire fleet – increasing the company’s capacity to deliver the best service to our UK-wide network of customers.

The 130Te, 300Te, MK140 and SK1265 Spierings Crane add extensive new capabilities to our market-leading 470-strong fleet.

The acquisitions are a signal of Ainscough Crane Hire’s continued innovation and investment as we seek to deliver the very best service and standards of health and safety to customers.

The LTM 1300-6.2 and LTM 1130-5.1 are mobile all-terrain cranes with better lifting capacity and improved boom lengths, along with the latest vario-base technology.

The MK140 mobile tower crane, meanwhile, has been selected for its compact chassis, capable of accessing tight spaces, maximum of 12 tonne axle loads and good road speeds.

The Spierings six-axle, twin-engine, 16 metre long SK1265 has a 60 metre radius and a maximum lifting mass of 10,000 kilos. Benefits include lower emissions, remote operation by a single person and can be set up in 11 minutes.

Andrew Winter, general manager of Ainscough Crane Hire’s Heavy Cranes Division, said: “A greater range of cranes ultimately means more capability for the business as a whole. The new tower crane will increase the potential for even more successful lift projects right across the UK.

“Our investment in new fleet enables us to cement our position as the UK’s market-leading company and ensure we have both the capacity and the very latest equipment.”
