A member of Ainscough Crane Hire’s team in Manchester has received recognition for his consistent hard work and thorough consideration for safety throughout an ongoing job on site in Macclesfield.
Supervisor AP of the Manchester depot, John Finnigan, has been commended for his efforts while working with contractors Wilson James on-site at an AstraZeneca warehouse project.
AstraZeneca is a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company headquartered in England. Ainscough is the preferred contractor for cranes on all AstraZeneca sites in the UK and the company recently highlighted John’s continuous hard work in a safe and professional manner.
John’s awareness of the importance of safety procedures has been recognised by Howard Waller, superintendent at AstraZeneca, who praised John for his reliability.
Howard Waller said: “John’s work on-site has proved him to be an exceptional member of the team, completing the majority of the crane lifts, always doing the right thing, and being an especially reliable employee. Not only is John consistent but he understands the way we work on-site, which is why we request him.”
John Finnegan, who’s been with the company for more than 30 years, said: “It’s a privilege to receive recognition for such hard work in a safe manner as this is something we strive for in all aspects of what we do.
“It’s instilled in every member of the team that safety is the number one priority on every aspect of our work and we should always Make the Safe Choice so I’m proud to be upholding the standard for Ainscough.”
