Ainscough Crane Hire has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining quality and safety across the industry with the announcement of three new training courses for crane professionals.
Following the roll-out of the first-ever online Appointed Person course in late July, Ainscough has now revealed details of three further new additions to its training programme:
• A40 Slinger/Signaller CPCS Course
• A60 Mobile Crane Course
• A62 Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisors Course
The new courses will take place at Ainscough’s industry-leading training facility in Dundee. Candidates will gain the CPCS trained operator card (red card) on passing the CPCS technical test at the end of the course.
Jim Fleming, Ainscough Crane Hire’s QHSE Training Manager, said: “2020 has been an unprecedented period for many reasons, and at Ainscough, we’re determined to ensure there remains a strong pipeline of skilled and qualified professionals that are able to ensure that lifting operations on sites across the country remain as safe as possible. That’s why we’ve invested in our training operation this summer, for the benefit both of individuals looking to develop their careers and to ensure safety standards within the industry remain high.
“This requires adaptation and innovation. At the start of the year, I didn’t envisage recording audio for an online Appointed Person course at home, but those recordings now form part of a training programme that’s being accessed all over the country, enabling people to complete it in a safe environment.
“At Ainscough, every element of our to day operations is underpinned by our Make the Safe Choice ethos, and as the UK’s leading crane company we take our responsibility in sharing our expertise across the industry and with the next generation of crane operatives very seriously. I’d encourage anyone looking to gain valuable qualifications from our expert team to book a course today.”
