Ainscough Crane Hire recently played a key role in the successful delivery of a critical telecoms infrastructure upgrade in Malton, working in partnership with its client Clarke Telecom.
The project involved extending a tower at a power management site, where Ainscough was tasked with delivering a full contract lift to install a five-metre lattice extension to the tower’s headframe. Utilising an LTM1055 crane, the team expertly lifted and secured the extension before rebuilding the headframe and integrating upgraded telecoms equipment.
As part of the works, two RBS 6120 cabinets were removed and replaced with a newly installed Eltek cabinet – all executed safely, efficiently, and to the client’s satisfaction.
Paul Clewes, Telecoms Project Manager at Ainscough Crane Hire, commented: “This was a perfect job from start to finish – completed quickly, safely, and without issue. It was a fantastic example of teamwork and professionalism on site. Every crew member worked as one unit, prioritising safety, productivity, and precision throughout the operation.”
From 5G deployments to complex telecoms lifts, Ainscough continues to support the UK’s critical infrastructure with industry-leading lifting solutions
