Ainscough Crane Hire has taken advantage of Liebherr’s upgrading of its LTM-1750-9.1 crane in order to enhance the capabilities of this already strong and popular crane.
The nine-axle crane can now hoist even heavier loads – it is now rated as an 800t crane, up from 750t. Updated software and the use of refined static calculation methods on the existing crane has enabled lifting capacity values to be increased across almost its entire working range.
The upgraded crane also incorporates a new luffing jib configuration TYV23EN which uses existing lattice sections to provide more than 10 tonnes of additional lifting capacity, suitable for use on wind turbines that feature 90m and 100m towers. The improved lifting capacity across the whole main boom range also means the crane is well suited for other industrial work, such as loading transformers.
Additionally, enhanced lifting capacity tables offer increased flexibility and safety, with over 70,000 load charts available
